ONE Industries’ Nate Adams is prepared to defend his 2009 Red Bull X-Fighters Championship as this year’s series kicks off in Mexico City, Mexico tonight. After missing the first round of the 2009 tour, Adams went on to take control of the series and was eventually crowned champion at the final stop in London.
The Temecula, California resident will line up against some of the world’s best FMX riders this Friday at the opening round held in Mexico City’s Monumental Plaza de Toros with more than 40,000 wild fans cheering them on. The action will continue on as six different cities play host to the tour in spectacular locations around the globe with a final showdown in Rome, Italy.
We checked in with Nate today and he had this to say: “I'm excited to be here in Mexico City! I missed it last year because of a broken wrist, so I'm already one step ahead of last year! I just finished second in qualifying and I’m looking forward to getting after it tonight!
